Alfonso came to Saint Augustine to propose!

He knew he wanted to do it at the beach after their romantic dinner in the early days of their vacation trip. I was, of course, over the moon and super excited about their story and upcoming engagement.

We chatted and planned our sunset surprise to be by the Pier in Saint Augustine, and while it is a lovely place, it was very crowded, and the tide was high.

Shopping for proposals is one of my favorite things to do, and I was super happy to find sunflowers for them- her favorite ones! 🌻

Knowing he wanted some privacy and with time in our hands, we drove south and found a more private beach, with spacious white sand beach and dunes for background, and shared the location. By the time they arrived, we were ready!

Alfonso spotted us and knew we were ready for him. We have a few tricks not to look conspicuous, so she had no idea we were there for them.

They took their shoes off and got ready for what would have been just a romantic walk on the beach.

THEN!! The magic moment happened, and it was glorious!

Katelyn said yes!!

We captured all the sweet candid moments and reactions and then did our mini engagement session. They were so lovely and fun, but more than anything, the love for each other was energizing and exciting!

These are the photos we share with them within three hours of the proposal to share the news with beautiful images.

Then, they got these a couple of weeks after to keep and cherish forever as a treasure.
