I don't even know where to start about their wedding because everything about it was just incredible.
I was already obsessed with them not only because they were fun, kind, and gorgeous together, or the couples session we had, so when they asked me to be their wedding photographer, my first sentence was, "can I call you now" I, of course, was already jumping around and tearing the happy tears.
Thinking about how lucky I was and how extraordinary their day was going to be even before I heard anything about it made it all so excited. The reality exceeded the vision!
But, the experience got better with friends in common and the feeling that we have known each other for a long time.
Pro Tip: Pick vendors that you can vibe with. Remember that you will be spending most of your day around them, especially with your photographers.
As we got closer to the day, it was too hard to contain my excitement. We took a little road trip to their venue at the Ribault Club in Jacksonville! Oh my, it is so so beautiful with a perfect combination of classy, romantic, airy, and sophisticated, not to mention the gorgeous and mind-blowing outdoors and water option. We walked around to find our favorite spots, set up a photo plan for the day, and left counting the days until we got to be back. IT'S THE WEDDING DAY!! Leighton and I were all packed up and ready to go the day before, which is always lovely! It also gives us time to stop by chick fill-a I could use the rest of my day and more going over all the lovely details, the fantastic people around them, the weather, the excitement!! Ahh, so beautiful!
Fun fact: They got married on a Friday the thirteenth, so a Jason appearance was the cherry on top for the bridesmaid's session. Fact: Their first dance is still one of the most epic choreographies too!
